Guide To Workspace in Adobe Illustrator

Photo editing is quite an art in itself. To be able to refine the quality and effects in a picture is a very useful thing that can come handy in most circumstances. Adobe illustrator provides us just the right incentive to modify pictures and images to our likes and preference. Adobe illustrator gives us the power to redefine the way we want to add a finishing touch to our photos to suit the mood and occasion as well.

And it is not just the Adobe illustrator that we admire; we are also more inclined to create visually stunning graphic designs to cater to our needs. A workspace illustrator serves the purpose of an assembly of a variety of tools that can be used to make graphic designs better. Technically speaking, the workspace refers to the specific arrangement of the tools and panels. The workspace contains different categories that have been predefined to simplify the process of graphic design.

The status bar shows the details of the document that has been uploaded into the workspace illustrator for further modification and designing. It is located at the left bottom corner of the workspace illustrator canvas. It gives the information about the current display size of the document in terms of the zoom, the page number of the document, and the tool that has been selected.

TOOL PANELS

Tool panel of the workspace illustrator, as the name suggests essentially contains the different tools that we are going to use for creating or modifying the graphics. The tools that have similar purposes are grouped together for convenience and ease. In the tool panel, one can find a large number of tools ranging from eraser, text box, draw tool, drag, rotate, etc.

PANELS

PANELS

The panels assist in the process of designing your work. They are variable in appearance according to the predefined categories available in the workspace illustrator such as essentials, painting or layout, etc. The panels also vary in alignment with respect to each category. When a certain category is selected, the placement of the panel is unique to that particular category.

DOCUMENT WINDOW

The document window is the area where the document is displayed. Any modification or effect applied on the document is visible through the document window of the workspace illustrator.

CONTROL PANEL

The control panel of the workspace illustrator shows the different options that are available under a selected tool. This panel is equivalent to the Options bar in the Adobe illustrator. For a certain activated tool, the control panel consists of the various settings of the selected tool that can be used.

Adobe illustrator is a definite magical tool that can be put to good and productive use once it is learned to be operated properly. Considering the very easy outline of the workspace illustrator, it can be said to be as easy to operate as the Adobe Photoshop or even MS Paint.
