Open the image
Open Photoshop software. Next, open the required image in the software.
There is a lot of scattered hair in this image which makes the selection difficult. To make it easy, use the ‘Colour Range ‘selection method. Go to the ‘Select’ menu and click on ‘Colour Range’.
Grab the ‘Add to Sample’ eyedropper tool and start selecting the hair by clicking on it. The white area inside the box shows you the selected area. After you are done, click on ‘OK’.

Create a new layer
Go to the ‘Layer’ menu. Select the ‘New’ option and then click on ‘Layer’. Name it as ‘Hair’. Next, you need to change the ‘Blend Mode’ of this layer to ‘Colour’.

Set foreground colour
For now, I want to change the colour to green. So, set the foreground colour to #90fd39. You can set any colour of your choice.

Select Brush Tool
Click on Brush Tool in the tool panel to select it. Next, start painting the hair.
After you are done painting the entire selection, press Ctrl+D to deselect the selection.

Change the opacity
As the green colour too saturated as compared to the rest part of the image, so we need to decrease the opacity. Go to ‘Layers’ and change the opacity to 59%.
