Photoshop, one of the most popular photo editing software has made it easy to edit even the minute details in the picture. From adding a background to the photo or softening the skin, Photoshop can do it all! So, here is one such tutorial where we will learn how to enlarge or contract eyes using Photoshop!

Open the image in Photoshop
Click on Photoshop software and open the desired image in it.

Select the tool
From the tool panel, select the ‘Rectangular Marquee Tool’. You can also use the shortcut Shift+M.

Selection of the area
Using the tool selected in the previous step, select the area of the eyes in the image as shown below:

Feather the selection
This is done in order to smoothen the hard edges of the selection box. Go to the ‘Select’ menu and click on ‘Refine Selection’ and then click on ‘Feather’. Set the radius as 5.

Copy the selection
After feathering is done, use the shortcut Ctrl+J to copy the selection on a new layer. Press F7 to open the Layer Window and you will see another layer which contains your selection only.

Enlarge eyes
Go to the ‘Edit’ menu and select ‘Free Transform’. Set the height to 115% and press Enter to finalize the tool. This will increase the size of the eye.

Remove eyebrow distortion
Go to the ‘Layer’ menu and select ‘Layer Mask’ and then ‘Reveal All’. This results in the addition of a white rectangular box to the new layer.
Select the Brush Tool from the tool panel and set the foreground color as Black. With the help of the Brush tool, start painting the eyebrows. Once, this is done, follow the same procedure with the other eye.
