Once the selection is made, the area selected can be resized or can undergo a transformation. To do so, opt edit followed by transform and lastly wrap. Once the wrap tool is chosen, the dimensions can be changed easily.

The image in left has an eye smaller than that of the one on the right. This is when the wrap tool comes into action with the help of which the size of the eyes was resized but, after using the wrap tool selection also gets distorted.

There is no difference between both the marquee tools except for their shape. For easy understanding let’s choose one of them to say, elliptical marquee tool, which can be selected from left tool panel by pressing shift+M repeatedly until it appears after which the cursor turns into the plus sign(+).

Drag and drop the elliptical selection as shown in the image. To use move tool go-to tool panel or simply press V. To move the selection in the midway of selection press and hold the spacebar. Once the area has been inverted by pressing, ctrl+shift+l/cmd+shift+l, this will select the entire portion which was not selected earlier. Press alt+backspace/opt+delete to make black as the foreground colour.

The options panel will show up only if there is any selection that has been done except for pen tool. The functions of the same are listed below:
