Once the selection is made, the area selected can be resized or can undergo a transformation. To do so, opt edit followed by transform and lastly wrap. Once the wrap tool is chosen, the dimensions can be changed easily.
The image in left has an eye smaller than that of the one on the right. This is when the wrap tool comes into action with the help of which the size of the eyes was resized but, after using the wrap tool selection also gets distorted.
FREE MOVEMENT:
One can play around with the selected portion of the image. One can copy and paste it on another image or overlapped on the same image but at a different position. Copy-pasting can be done using ctrl+C/cmd+C and to paste it back into the original image/document, ctrl+V/cmd+V could be used.

ADD BORDER:
A border can be added to the selection by choosing edit and then stroke and also fill the stroke dialogue box as per the requirement. The above image has a width of 1 pixel and black as the colour. Inside location means nothing but the border lies inside the selected region and vice-versa.
